for a better deal or will the opportunity be gone by then in we've been down for three days in a row and certainly an oddity in this market. some people will pay anything for that sweater and the stock. they don't care. other people think the sweater has moth holes in it and no price worth paying and that's the situation zee to worry about and that's where we are right now, in between. some people think the stock prices are going higher and they think the fed is in control of the market and when we see weak data we know the fed will keep the sweater from being marked down far more and we have to pounce, and they don't care all that much about the fed. they think stocks have moved so much that they're forecasting better earnings and unless the economy in this country and around globe starts growing then these estimates won't be met and the stocks will be taken out and shot, so these two cohorts are at definitive, cross purposes. you think i'd know not to press them after nine years. let's see how this plays out on a given day because today is extraordinary as a demonstration. we have

that building, got into the parliament and sat ten rows behind binyamin netanyahu with a plastic gun on his possession. so this isn't science fiction. this isn't just a perceived or imagined threat. this is real. this is now. and we've got to do something about it. one of the things that's happened in the wake of sandy hook is that schools have invested in enormous amounts of security. i'm somebody who doesn't believe that ultimately that's the way you keep schools safe. but to the extent that schools have put in more metal deducters, have put in more security platforms around their entryways and exitways, it doesn't do any good if somebody can walk through that school who wants to do great damage within it with plastic firearm that will be legal in this country in one way, shame, or form if we don't pass an updated version of this bill right now this week. it's time that we recognize that the future is here. plastic guns are real. and as we approach the one-year anniversary of the most horrific school shooting that this country has ever seen, it is fipple for us to do what we have many tim

a dynamic row graham, doubt about that. i want to come back to a couple of points in the testimony. of students at your community college or nationally require remedial education? numbern't have that readily available. i do know that i have been told it's a relatively high number. context, some of those students are testing into remedial math and one of the really goodhey were students in high school and by the time they got to grade 10 or 11, they had taken all the math required, so they were taking nothing in grade 12. when they went to do the testing, they were showing they needed a developmental class to take college-level algebra. so there is some context, but it's a high number. >> i just spent some time in southern arizona talking with the officers in charge of the educational system there. they are training soldiers and officers and remediation is a big heart of what a do their. the pell funduch we used for remediation at this point? studentst we do know can take up to 30 credits or the equivalent of her medial courses and i'll grants will pay for it. students are stopping
